Aoraki / Mt Cook Lakeside Retreat Wedding

On a stunning November day I travelled down to Lake Tekapo to capture the lovely Nicole and Ben’s wedding.

Lake Pukaki is nestled in the heart of the Southern Alps, with Mt. Cook and Mt. Tasman just a stone's throw away. This lakeside retreat was an ideal setting for Nicole and Ben’s wedding, with spectacular views and plenty of space to spread out. They have a love of mountaineering and this area is very special to them.

Lakeside retreat has two stunning lakeside ceremony spots with views of Mt Cook and the Southern Alps. We had blue sky and sparkling blue lake views with the mountains being covered in dramatic cloud.

It was a beautiful wedding and a beautiful day, and the guests had a great time enjoying the views and stunning restaurant at the lodge. Nicole looked stunning in her dress, and Ben couldn't take his eyes off of her! Their young daughter was also adorable—she looked so sweet in her little flower girl dress.
