My name is Kirsten and I like taking photos

I have loved photography for as long as I can remember! Since playing with my Dad’s old Nikon camera at the age of six, I have spent days upon end with camera in hand or looking through the lens. I love capturing moments between people, turning an everyday interaction into art.

My introduction into the world of photography was through studying film / analog photography, spending countless hours in a darkroom developing images by hand. Though I now mainly shoot on digital, the foundations learnt from studying film guide and inspire my work.

For me, the purpose of any photo shoot is to make art work from a fantastic experience. I want my photos to be a true and beautiful representation of a moment, but mostly I want my clients to remember how they felt every time they look at their photos. I aim to build trust with the couples and families that I’m photographing because then I can capture your most special moments in a natural and non-intrusive way. 

As a wedding photographer and videographer, I understand the importance of capturing every special moment of a couple's big day. That's why I offer both photo and video services for weddings. With my photography skills, we can freeze a moment in time and capture the emotions, joy, and love that fill the air on the wedding day. At the same time, video allows me to create a moving story that showcases the entire day, from the preparations to the final dance. I specialise in couples shoots, weddings, and elopements. All of my packages include the session fee and digital images. You also have the option to buy high quality prints with my online gallery system.
